How it all Began 

Founded in early 2022 by CEO Marie C Barjon, a Haitian immigrant who came to America in 1997, Barjon Home Health Aid Services was created to help others with situations she found herself while treating her clients. Marie has 3 beautiful children and a big loving family, which to no surprise came with plenty of struggles that required long hours working to provide enough to support her family. She started off making very small amounts of money and working various jobs one after another but there was one position in which she excelled, caretaking. "Ever since I was a child, I was always passionate about helping those around me. I guess you could say I've been a Caretaker since the day I was born!" Marie's passion had manifested over time, and she got her first client in 2010. " From the first day I started, I knew that this was what I was meant to do." Since that first opportunity, Marie then went on and obtained a certification in Medical Assistance and a CNA Certificate.

 

Unfortunately, tragedy struck and in late 2021 when Marie's mother suffered 2 strokes which along with stress from the prior lockdown and Covid concerns put a huge burden on her family. Her mother became incapable of walking and was unable to speak. It of course became impossible for Marie to stop everything going on in her life to support her mother like she wishes she could. Marie says "I was having a hard time caring for my mother and desperately needed some form of additional assistance." From this tragic life event, Marie knew she wanted to help others who were in the same position as her own family."

And thus Barjon Home Health Aides Services was born. Our goal is simple, to connect the community of people who need assistance with those who are available to help!
